Token Offerings

Security Token Offering (STO, i.e., tokenized property shares) is a type of public offering in which real estate assets are tokenized, known as asset tokens. Tokens can be used to trade real financial assets such as equities and fixed income using a blockchain virtual ledger system to store and validate token transactions.

By leveraging blockchain technology, the minting and issuance of STOs is streamlined and automated using Smart Contracts. What traditionally use to be a cumbersome and labor-intensive process Whimsy will offer a singular and dependable source of truth that all parties can rely upon.

All sourced property assets that will be listed on the Whimsy platform will go through a review process before being made public on the platform. Once the approval from our broker-dealer is complete and the report submitted to FINRA, then and only then will the STO start for that property.
